The broadcaster, which calls itself the Home of Snooker, has created new content with snooker legends, as well as new formats that enable fans to delve into its extensive snooker archive.

Eurosport has unveiled its snooker programming over the next two weeks to replace the postponed World Snooker Championship season finale.

The broadcaster has created new content and formats to make the most of its extensive snooker archive and provide compelling footage for snooker fans.

Beginning on Saturday (18 April) Eurosport will screen a new series called The Snooker Vodcast. It’s hosted by Eurosport snooker presenter Andy Goldstein and broadcasts daily at 2pm.

The Snooker Vodcast features a series of debates with some of the biggest names on the Tour, including Ronnie O’Sullivan, Shaun Murphy and Neil Robertson.

In one episode, O’Sullivan looks back at his idols, rivals and legacy spanning across a career filled with accolades and records.

In another, Jimmy White and Neal Foulds discuss some of the greatest performances in Triple Crown history.

Alongside The Snooker Vodcast, Eurosport is unveiling a format called You Say, We Play, where fans use a Twitter poll to cast their vote from a selection of classic archive matches they want to watch again. The poll will be hosted on @Eurosport_UK and the winning choice will be broadcast each evening at 7pm.

Additionally, Eurosport is planning to show memorable finals and stand-out individual performances across the whole snooker calendar, which will be broadcast daily at 10.00am and 2.30pm.

All the coverage will also be available on demand via Eurosport Player. Shortform highlights will be available on eurosport.co.uk and across Eurosport’s social platforms, while the vodcasts will also be turned into a podcast series called The Break.
