Hifen will augment the footballer’s sport’s marketing agency, B-Engaged
Arsenal footballer Hector Bellerin has opened his own creative studio and production agency, Hifen Studios.
The 25-year-old already has his own sports marketing agency, B-Engaged. The new proposition will look to build on B-Engaged’s sports industry experience, which includes work with the likes of Puma, Adidas, and EA Sports.
Hifen studios will produce a range of content, including live events, advertising, and long-form entertainment. It is also aiming to give young creative talent across Europe a chance in the industry.
Hifen’s first project will be the release of documentary, The Unseen Journey, a nine-part YouTube and Facebook series that follows Bellerin’s 18-month recovery from an ACL injury.
Bellerin said: “I am so excited to be part of this, when we were creating the documentary and some of my other recent projects, my mindset started to develop more around the creative process and how we could do more.
“One of the things we are passionate about is helping the next-generation of creatives, whether that’s through opportunities or having them come in and learn from the best in the business, we want to make sure we’re supporting the future.”
Co-founder Ehsen Shah added: “We have been thinking about opening a studio for a long-time. After producing the documentary we realised that there was a new opportunity for us with the way the media landscape is changing.
“Content production has been at the heart of what we have been doing at B-Engaged for a number of years, now with HIFEN we are able to show our capabilities on a much wider scale than just sport.”
