Eurosport International Women's Day promotional imageEurosport has announced a special one-hour Women In Sport special to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Presented by Orla Chennaoui, the programme will include guests including former England netball head coach Tracey Neville, former British tennis number one Annabel Croft and UCI professional cyclist Lizzy Banks.

There are also further interviews with the likes of 12-time snooker World Champion Reanne Evans and Faye Ho – entrepreneur and the newest owner of a British Superbike and road racing team.

Chennaoui, who is the face of Eurosport’s Grand Tour cycling coverage and recently signed a new deal with the company to expand her role to more sports, will drive a discussion around personal role models, bias in sport, the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, and re-living memorable sporting moments from years gone by.

It will air at 7pm on Eurosport 1, with viewers also able to stream it live and on demand through the Eurosport App. The full-length interviews will be available from 8pm Monday.

Monday 8 March also sees the launch of the latest episode of the new Trailblazers series featuring Olympic gold medal sprinter Cathy Freeman.
