It’s the fifth year in a row BT Sport has chosen YouTube for its obligatory free-to-air screening of the final.
BT Sport is planning to stream the UEFA Champions League and Europa League finals on its YouTube channel for fans to watch for free.
As part of the broadcaster’s rights agreement with UEFA, it’s obliged to make the final free-to-air.
BT Sport has now used YouTube to fulfil this requirement for five consecutive years, as well as offering free access to last year’s (Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur) finals through the BT Sport app.
The Europa League final is 21 August, while the Champions League final is 23 August.
