Cloud-based platform will enable remote production of live matches on social media.
The season opening return of K League tomorrow (Friday, 8 May) is being produced for social media remotely using Grabyo.
The match – between Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors and Suwon Samsung Bluewings – is being broadcast on K League’s YouTube and Twitter channels at 7pm (KST) on Friday.
Only essential personnel will be present at the match, with Grabyo’s cloud-based live production platform Grabya Producer being used to enable remote operation, including the commentary recording, which will be added live from Australia.
Doojin Sa, head of new media, K League, said: “We are excited to be able to again deliver live sport to football fans across Asia and the world. We are doing so with safety as our main priority, using all of the technology at our disposal to ensure only essential personnel need to be in the stadium.”
