5-day tournament features some of the world’s best cyclists and mass-participation stages.
Eurosport is broadcasting the Zwift Tour for All exhibition racing series, a pro racing tour on the Zwift virtual platform.
The tour will be held over five stages on 4-8 May, and will feature teams from both the men’s and women’s World Tours. Each stage will be screened live on all Eurosport platforms and on the Global Cycling Network (GCN) app.
The GCN mobile app is available to download for free from iOS Apple Store and Android Google Play stores.
There will also be highlights on the GCN social channels, as part of a collaboration between Eurosport and GCN.
The racing will TX live each day between 2pm and 4pm BST and include leading cycling teams Mitchelton-Scott, EF-Education, NTT, Alpecin-Fenix, Bahrain-McLaren, Canyon//SRAM Racing, CCC-Liv and Boels Dolmans.
The teams and the top 25 riders will pick up points across the week and there will also be a daily individual race winner. There will also be intermediate points on each stage and double points for the Top 10 on the Queen Stage (Stage 5).
Stages will range in distance from 45km to 75km and approximately 400m and 1700m in elevation with race times estimated to be between 1hr 15min and 2hr, depending on the distance and elevation of each stage.
As part of the Tour for All series, Zwift will donate $125K to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and its COVID-19 crisis fund. There will also be mass participation stages of the tour, with Zwifters encouraged to take part – an additional $125K will be donated once 250,000 people complete a stage of the Tour for All.
