English commentary will help expand the global audience for the club.
Nicaraguan club Real Estelí FC has teamed up with virtual commentary studio Spalk to make its matches available in English. The games will be streamed in English through the club’s YouTube channel in an attempt to expand its fan base.
Spalk will be providing two English language commentators – Ben Wilson and Shawn Medow – who will be commentating remotely from their homes in California, using the company’s cloud-based virtual commentary studio.
Real Esteli FC chairman Helmuth Hurtado, said: “We are delighted to offer this new service that will allow us to permeate our North American fan base and increase our global audience.
