The deal includes an exclusivity agreement in the US

Globecast has sealed a multi-year partnership with the Outdoor Sport Channel for distribution of its HD and 4K content to multichannel video programming distributors.

The deal is for worldwide distribution and means Globecast will be the exclusive distributor in the US. It covers linear channel and video-on-demand content on all platforms including CATV, DTH, IPTV, OTT, and smart TVs.

Globecast provides content aggregation and end-to-end media delivery for network programming globally. Meanwhile, UK and Netherlands based Outdoor Sports Channel covers is a 24 hour global sports featuring a variety of outdoor, action, summer, winter sports and sports news.

It distributes its HD programming via CATV, DTH satellite, IPTV, OTT, broadcast over IP, VOD, and mobile platforms.

Henk van Meer, founder and CEO of Outdoor Sport Channel said of the deal: “In order to further maximize our worldwide distribution, we teamed up with Globecast.”
