You can hear from COO Anouk Mertens and new chief direct to consumer officer Pedro Presa at the Broadcast Sport Virtual Breakfast Club this month

Eleven Group has restructured its leadership team, bringing the founders of MyCujoo on board after its acquisition of the streaming service.

MyCujoo co-founder and CEO, Pedro Presa, joins the Eleven board and leadership team as Eleven Group chief direct to consumer officer. Meanwhile, fellow MyCujoo co-founder and COO, Joao Presa, becomes chief technology and product officer. MyCujoo chief commercial officer, Michiel Hofstee, has been appointed group chief revenue officer.

There has also been movement among current executives, with Philip Nash, finance director of parent company Aser Ventures, expanding his role to become Eleven’s group chief finance officer.

Marketing and sports industry expert Julian Pate joins permanently as group chief marketing officer, and there will shortly be an announcement of appointments to new roles, group chief content officer, and group chief strategy officer.

In addition, Danny Menken will continue as chief business development officer, and Guillaume Collard continues to oversee all rights acquisitions with the new group-wide title of chief rights acquisition officer – as well as continuing his role as managing director of Eleven Belgium and Luxembourg.

Anouk Mertens continues as chief operating officer, and you will be able to hear from her and MyCujoo co-founder and Eleven’s new chief direct to consumer officer Pedro Presa at the first Broadcast Sport Virtual Breakfast Club later this month.

Luis Vicente, Eleven CEO, said: “Our management restructure sees us welcome industry leading executives to the ELEVEN team and gives us the framework we need to deliver on our ELEVEN 2.0 strategy and plans for a new global platform this year. We’re very excited about what’s ahead and we’re looking forward to serving more fans than ever with the best live sport and entertainment in 2021.”

The restructure comes after the group Eleven 2.0 rebrand, and the appointment of Michael Sun as managing director of Eleven Taiwan.
