The channel is part of the multi-channel OTT platform Channelbox, on Freeview channel 271.
Dedicated skiing channel, Ski TV, has launched in the UK on Freeview 271, via the multi-channel OTT platform Channelbox.
It streams a range of programming around skiing, including lifestyle, sport, weather, interviews with athletes and resorts overviews.
Channelbox works through TV sets connected to the aerial and broadband. It includes channels providing news, movies, music and entertainment.
SkiTV is the first sports channel on the platform.
Tanya Kronfli, Channelbox business development, said: “We are beyond excited to welcome the first ski channel in the UK and the timing can’t be better to enjoy watching the slopes.”
