The partnership will dramatically enhance the live insight available across broadcast, second screen and betting experiences.

Stats Perform is to work with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) as its official data partner. It will deliver multiple feeds to broadcasters and digital platforms, including an exclusive umpire-derived data feed for an expanded number of WTA matches.

Stats Perform will also produce an ‘ultrafast’ data feed collected by its Opta analysts, which will include detailed match statistics down to rally and shot level.

Stats Perform says its involvement with the WTA will dramatically increase the level of live insight available for thousands of WTA matches through broadcast, second screen, and betting experiences.

Its data will come from both Opta analysts and through utilising advanced AI.

Stats Perform CEO Carl Mergele, said: “The WTA has very ambitious goals for their tournaments and players and we’re proud to be trusted to help them reach new levels of fan and bettor engagement.”

WTA President Micky Lawler, adds: “Stats Perform has a history of creating innovative and trusted content and products that drive entertainment levels and new revenue streams for the professional sports ecosystem. We’re looking forward to discovering new and unique storylines surrounding the WTA Tour and our players and tournaments available in new, exciting and comprehensive ways.”
