Rugby editorial site will host 600 articles a year about the sport, as well as podcasts and video content.

RugbyPass has released some stats around engagement levels in its new online rugby magazine – The XV, which launched in September.

The XV is a subscription-based platform that offers rugby fans a host of editorial content, including opinion pieces, long read features, Q&As, rugby news and analysis. It’s written by journalists, pundits, coaches, data analysists, referees and rugby stars (including Liam Messam, Wayne Buck Shelford, Noli Waterman, Justin Marshall and David Flatman).

RugbyPass says the site has had more than 115,000 visitors to date and will have more than 600 articles added per year, as well as rugby podcasts and video content.

It’s free to access for the first month, and then costs £25 a year to access all content.

Fred Culazzo, content director of The XV, said: “Our aim is to change how rugby is covered and create a more sustainable model for the best rugby content online.”
