The live stream of the online conference will be given the look and feel of a TV production.

Esports event specialist, Esports BAR, has partnered with live streaming company easylive.io to broadcast content from its forthcoming Esports BAR+ Americas virtual event on 22-25 September.

The Esports BAR+ Americas event focuses on monetisation, innovation, investments and audiences, including the growing connection between sport and esports.

easylive.io, whose clients include The Premier League, Facebook, Tencent Games and Twitch, has been tasked with live streaming the event and give it “the feel of a real TV show.”

Easylive.io CEO, Philippe Laurent, said: “Our tech will enable delegates to follow all the show’s content online, and all the live production will be managed from our platform. This will give the experience of a real TV show, but 100% virtual, with all the speakers and guests safely at home.

“The features we think will really level up the experience for the esports community are our editing tools for the production customisation, the conferencing feature to invite special guests to join the live feed remotely and also our playlists technology, enabling Esports BAR to broadcast ad breaks. Our clipping feature will also be used to share short video clips from the conference and to highlight the best moments on social networks.”

Esports BAR director, Arnaud Verlhac, adds: “Esports Bar+ Americas will facilitate a much-needed return to strategic conversations at a time when many countries are still facing travel bans and all the restrictions associated with Covid. A multi-device approach to running the event is essential, including interactivity, to deliver the best live streaming experience.”
