The 20/21 season kicks off this weekend.

Sky Sports is airing 48 live matches from the Scottish Premiership season, which returns this weekend.

Eilidh Barbour will present Sky’s coverage, while regular analyst Kris Boyd will be joined by James McFadden.

Former Rangers, St. Johnstone and Kilmarnock striker Ally McCoist; former Scotland and Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher; and former Celtic striker John Hartson will also join the team of presenters.

Commentary on the matches will be handled by Ian Crocker and Andy Walker.

Sky will continue to augment the sound from the behind-closed-doors games through ‘Sky Sports Crowds’, providing fans with the chance to watch games with or without added crowd noise.

Sky Sports is the exclusive broadcaster of the Scottish Premiership in the UK and Ireland. The 20/21 season will see Celtic aim to make history by winning a tenth consecutive title.

As well as showing up to 48 live games, Sky Sports News at 6pm each weekend will be the first place to see all the goals on television.

There will also be a new podcast, presented by Ian Crocker with regulars Kris Boyd and Andy Walker, covering all the top topics from Scottish football from the week, and answering fans’ questions.

Gary Hughes, director of football, Sky Sports, said: “We’re delighted to be able to bring our customers comprehensive and exclusive coverage of the Scottish Premiership in this, the first year of a five-year contract. It promises to be a thrilling season and we can’t wait to get going on 1 August on the home of Scottish football.”
