The first episode in the six-part series is live now on IGTV, Facebook and YouTube.
The National Governing Body of tennis for Great Britain (LTA) has launched a six-part digital mini-series called The Showdown, with British Olympian Aimee Fuller.
Designed for social platforms, the series will run across LTA and influencer channels over the next six weeks.
The series brings together British tennis, sport and social media stars, taking part in a variety of tennis-themed challenges, and being interviewed by Fuller.
In the first episode (above, and also on IGTV, Facebook and YouTube), Great Britain Davis Cup star, Neal Skupski (doubles partner of Jamie Murray) goes head-to-head with ex-pro surfer Laura Crane in the ‘Round the World Challenge’. He also talks about lockdown training with Jamie Murray.
Throughout the series, themes including family, entertainment, and health and fitness will be covered, and viewers will be encouraged to take part in the challenges, and engage with the players and guests.
The Showdown is part of the LTA’s ‘Play Your Way’ campaign drive to remind people how accessible tennis is and that it’s “open for business this summer.”
