Welsh broadcaster to present weekly highlights programme from the tournament, available on BBC iPlayer.

S4C has secured rights to show New Zealand’s Super Rugby Aotearoa tournament. The 10-week competition involves five New Zealand teams – Blues, Hurricanes, Crusaders, Highlanders and Warren Gatland’s Chiefs – playing each other home and away, with two matches played every weekend.

S4C’s Clwb Rygbi will screen a weekly programme with extended highlights from each match, after reaching an agreement with UK rights holder, Sky Sports.

The broadcaster’s coverage begins on Sunday 14 June at 10.00pm, with English commentary also available.
