Cricket-focused magazine show includes ECB’s Tom Harrison talking about the future of the highly anticipated The Hundred tournament.

The first episode of Sky Sports’ The Cricket Show will TX at 2pm tomorrow (30 April).

It features cricket ‘super fan’ Captain Tom Moore, who has raised more than £29m for the NHS through his garden walks. The Cricket Show will screen a video featuring birthday wishes from England players.

Presenters Ian Ward and Sky Sports pundits Nasser Hussain and Mike Atherton will also be joined by ECB chief executive Tom Harrison to talk through the season start delay (which has been pushed back to 1 July) and to provide an update about the immediate future of The Hundred tournament (pictured above).

The Cricket Show also sees James Anderson and Tammy Beaumont discussing life as a professional cricketer during lockdown and their hopes for the remainder of the summer.

Kumar Sangakkara talks about cricket in Sri Lanka as well as a documentary he made with Sky Sports during his recent trip to Pakistan.

After the show airs, the best bits will be available on Sky Sports’ new cricket YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkd4takjjF1EGD1TKIK2QiA
