Doc producer Noah Media Group expands the range of films it represents through its distribution wing, NoahX.
Sports doc maker Noah Media Group has picked up international sales rights to Lorton Entertainment’s Make Us Dream and HBO’s Bleed Out, for the company’s distribution wing, NoahX.
Make Us Dream is the story of Liverpool and England legend Steven Gerrard, and is currently available globally on Amazon Prime. NoahX will be looking to sell free TV rights (excluding UK) for the film around the world.
Meanwhile, Bleed Out investigates medical malpractice in the US. It’s produced by Dan Cogan (Icarus) and is the first non-sports doc to be represented by Noah.
The acquisitions mark the next batch of third-party created films for NoahX, following feature doc The Australian Dream (directed by Daniel Gordon), which Noah Media Group already represents.
NoahX’s slate also includes Noah-made films, Adam Hills: Take His Legs, which aired on Channel 4 in the UK in December and charts Hill’s formation of the world’s first physical disability rugby league team; Cannes Official Selection feature Steve McQueen: The Man & Le Mans; critically-acclaimed cricket documentary The Edge; and ITV’s Out of Their Skin, the history of black British football.
Noah Media Group is currently in production on a feature-length doc about the legendary England World Cup Winner and Ireland manager, Jack Charlton.
Head of international sales Catherine Quantschnigg, said: “We’re thrilled to be adding this diverse duo of titles to our slate of critically acclaimed documentaries, and to be representing award-winning filmmakers on a global basis.”
