New episode of popular COPA90 series sees Michael Keane discussing his own mental health.
The latest episode of COPA90 series The Groundbreakers sees Everton and England player Michael Keane talking about his struggles with mental health.
The production was made in association with mental health charity Calm, and focuses on how Keane reacted to an injury, and the resulting impact on his mental health.
COPA90’s The Groundbreakers series has received 120 million views, and 3.5 million engagements so far. It includes episodes with Raheem Sterling, Virgil van Dijk, Anthony Joshua, Diogo Pé, Kasi Flava, Wissam Ben Yedder, The Street Balling Groundbreakers, Li Ke, The Pro Groundbreakers, Lisa Freestyle, and Jadon Sancho.
Giving advice to others facing similar difficulties to those he discussed in The Groundbreakers, Keane said: “Stay strong, stay in there, speak to people, and do the little things that make you happy. Eventually you’ll come out the other side.”
