The platform has been hit by postponements to tennis and other sports
Amazon Prime Video has released an exclusive interview with Andy Murray while it deals with a lack of live sport.
The platform has had to deal with a lack of live sport recently, due to the coronavirus pandemic postponements. In particular, tennis could have been a big draw as it holds the rights to show the ATP and WTA tours as well as the US Open this year.
It had planned to unveil a new studio to produce its tennis content this season, but will now have to wait until the sport returns after the shutdowns.
In the meantime, Amazon Prime is having to rely on its catalogue of documentaries and original content to continue its sport offering.
Speaking in the interview on Fighting Back to Fitness Following Surgery, Murray outlines how his rehab has been going, family life, and why he thinks his current injury surfaced.
All tennis is currently on hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the French Open has announced its intention to take place between 20 September and 4 October.
