It worked with BBC Sport on Greg James’ Sport Relief Heroes and 2020: Gareth Thomas’ Tour de Trophy
Timeline Television North has revealed it provided full post-production to both Greg James’ Sport Relief Heroes and 2020: Gareth Thomas’ Tour de Trophy for Sport Relief.
The company, based in MediaCityUK, Salford, provided offline, online edits, and grading in Avid Symphony by Nick Perry, Ben Coles, and Greg Emmerson. In addition, DPP file delivery was completed by technical manager Chris Mann through Content Agent, and dubbing mixer Luke Williams mixed the sound in Pro Tools. Charlotte Bell post-produced the series.
Greg James’ Sport Relief Heroes is an hour-long documentary that features challenges from celebrities such as Davina McCall, Zoe Ball, David Walliams, Eddie Izzard, John Bishop, and Greg himself as they tried to raise money for the cause.
Meanwhile, 2020: Gareth Thomas’s Tour de Trophy involved the former rugby star cycling from Cardiff to Aberdeen with the 40kg Sport Personality of the Year trophy in tow. Cameras followed Thomas on his journey, capturing the trials and tribulations to turn them into a 30-minute documentary.
