They’ve never been offered together on Sky TV before

Sky has launched new TV packages including both Sky Sports and BT Sport together for the first time.

Three new packages have been introduced with BT Sport attached on 18-month contracts. These additions come on the same day as BT begins to offer Sky Sports and Sky entertainment channels, as well as Now TV integration on its new flexible TV offerings.

New Sky TV packages

  • Sky Sports and BT Sport: £35 on top of Sky TV subscription, includes all eight Sky Sports channels and all four BT Sport options.
  • Sky Sports and BT Sport, plus Sky Entertainment: £47 a month, includes all of the above as well as 300 Sky TV and 40 catch-up channels from Sky Entertainment.
  • BT Sport: £25 a month to add BT Sport channels to an existing subscription

In addition to these packages, Now TV customers will be able to watch BT Sport when their app launches on the service later this spring. This comes after several recent content partnerships involving Sky, which include the BBC, Channel 4, Netflix, and Warner Media among others.

Chief commercial officer, Lyssa Mcgowan, said: “From the excitement of the UEFA Champions League, Tiger Woods defending The Masters and the rise of Fallon Sherrock, 2020 is a huge year of sport. Now, through our partnership with BT and the launch of our new sports packages, millions of fans can watch all the sports they love.”

Sky has recently raised prices on several of its other packages. Sky Entertainment will be £2 a month more expensive (£22 to £24), and Sky Multiscreen (£13 to £14) and Sky HDTV (£5 to £6) £1 a month extra for contracted customers.
