Denise Parkinson joins the company after work at The Telegraph Media Group and Walt Disney TV
OneFootball has appointed Denise Parkinson to the newly-created role of global entertainment director.
Parkinson has over 25 years experience in the media and marketing industries, and has worked as global entertainment director at The Telegraph Media Group and as director of marketing, EMEA, at Walt Disney TV.
Parkinson will report to UK sales director Edward Desbois at OneFootball. She will be responsible for working with entertainment clients from streaming, film, gaming and music to help distribute their existing premium commercial content, create new innovative solutions and to connect them with OneFootball’s audience.
Desbois said: “I am delighted that Denise is joining the growing team at OneFootball. She has a great track record and a high profile in the entertainment industry and will be a fantastic addition to the company.”
Parkinson added: “I am hugely excited to join OneFootball. It is a powerful, innovative brand with a young, passionate and engaged audience and I look forward to forming new partnerships with like-minded brands and advertisers.”
This news comes shortly after OneFootball acquired Dugout to become what it claims is the world’s largest owned and operated digital football media business.
