The PTO 2020 Championship at CHALLENGEDAYTONA includes all the major triathletes, including Alistair and Jonny Brownlee.
A triathlon that takes place at the iconic 500-acre motorsports complex Daytona on 6 December will be shown in more than 100 countries globally, following broadcast deals secured by IMG.
The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) 2020 Championship at CHALLENGEDAYTONA will see the world’s top triathletes competing for a $1,150,000 prize purse.
It’s the finalé of a three-day triathlon festival (4-6 December) and will feature an range of different events, including age-group sprint and middle-distance events, junior challenges and a Pro-Am relay.
The event organiser says it has the strongest field of triathletes ever assembled, including Alistair and Jonny Brownlee, Sebastian Kienle, Lionel Sanders, Anne Haug, Nicola Spirig, Lisa Nordén and Holly Lawrence.
Live coverage of the event will be shown on NBC Universal’s streaming service Peacock; live streamed by the PTO at https://championship.protriathletes.org/live-broadcast; and broadcast globally in Australia (Fox Sports Australia), the Balkans (Sportklub), Canada (TSN), China (Tencent), France (L’Equipe), India (Eurosport), Italy (Sportitalia), Latin America and the Caribbean (DirecTV), Pan Asia, including Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Myanmar, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam (Fox Sports Asia), South Africa (Supersport), Spain (RTVE), Turkey (Ssport) and UK (BT Sport).
