Rakuten TV has unveiled a documentary about the biggest international team competition in tennis, the Davis Cup. The film, Break Point: A Davis Cup Story, has been produced by Kosmos Studios with the participation of players including Rafa Nadal, Roberto Bautista, Andrey Rublev and Feliciano López.
The documentary is being made available free-to-air from 26 November.
It centres on last year’s tournament, held in Madrid in 2019, when Spain was proclaimed champion for the sixth time. The film focuses on the stories of the two finalists; Spain and Canada. It includes Roberto Bautista’s personal story, who after temporarily leaving the competition due to the death of his father, returned to support his team, played the final and brought the victory for Spain.
