Fry has been with IMG since 1991 and plans to retire by the end of 2022
IMG has revealed that Graham Fry is its new executive chairman, production.
The move comes as Fry aims to manage the transition to new leadership when his career before the end of 2022.
Fry joined the company in 1991, and has been managing director, production worldwide, since 2007 – overseeing a staff of over 500, based in London, Sydney, Stockholm, Oslo, Singapore and Glasgow producing programming across all media including broadcast, digital and social.
His time at the helm has come as IMG has grown its list of production clients to include the Premier League, Wimbledon (AELTC); World Rugby, PGA European Tour, the R&A (The Open), the Ryder Cup, PGA of America, UFC, EFL, Euroleague, IPL, USTA, FIVB, FEI, BWF and broadcasters such as BBC, Five, Amazon Prime, Eurosport, The Olympic Channel, CBS and NBC Sports.
Before joining IMG, Fry had been an assistant producer at the BBC and exectuive producer at Champion TV – the provider of sport to British Satellite Broadcasting.
