The sports OTT platform will now be available in more than 200 countries and territories.
Sports streamer DAZN launches in more than 200 countries and territories today. It will cost an ‘initial’ monthly price of £1.99 or less and focuses on live world championship boxing and on-demand original programming.
The content coming up on the platform includes Billy Joe Saunders defending his WBO super-middleweight title against fellow Englishman Martin Murray, on 4 December (although this won’t be available on DAZN in the UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand).
DAZN will also stream the high-profile Anthony Joshua OBE and Kubrat Pulev fight on 12 December (although not in the UK or Ireland), and on 18 December it shows Gennadiy “GGG” Golovkin’s defence of the middleweight title against Kamil Szeremeta.
DAZN’s boxing coverage continues on 19 December as Canelo Alvarez faces undefeated champion Callum Smith in San Antonio, Texas (this will not available on DAZN in Mexico).
Then, on 2 January 2021 it will stream the Ryan García and Luke Campbell fight for the interim WBC lightweight title.
