Apple TV+ commissioned DAZN to make and distribute a two-part commercial featuring José Mourinho, which aired during the UEFA Champions League Final to promote Apple’s new sports comedy series, Ted Lasso.
DAZN produced the spots, which it described as a mockumentary where Mourinho meets the fictional AFC Richmond Premier League manager, Ted Lasso.
The two 150-second ads aired during the half-time break and at full-time on DAZN in Austria, Canada and Germany. They were also supported by 30-second TV spots.
