Confirmation that the 2019/20 season will return to competition.
The Premier League will return on Wednesday 17 June, with two fixtures – Aston Villa v Sheffield United and Manchester City v Arsenal – being played.
These are the two games that were in hand when the country went into lockdown – the Premier League was suspended on 13 March.
The following weekend (19-21 June) will see the full fixture list return, with 92 fixtures still left to play.
The players and staff at the clubs will be tested twice weekly during the remainder of the season. If anyone is tested positive, they must self-isolate for a week.
The fixture list will be screened by a wide mix of broadcasters – Sky Sports, BT Sport, BBC Sport and Amazon Prime. To find out more, click here.
