BT Media & Broadcast is running a virtual roundtable webinar, The changing content landscape, at 4pm on Tuesday 14 April.
The event will discuss the way the sports industry is evolving in its response to the coronavirus pandemic, with esports and virtual events replacing cancelled live sporting events; new presenter-led formats being created to host re-runs of classic sports events from the archives; and sports docs giving fans another chance to immerse themselves in the sports they love.
The panel brings together industry experts from esports, sports broadcasters and production companies, and is being chaired by Broadcast Sport editor Jake Bickerton.

The Synopsis
COVID-19 is changing things massively – the way we work, the way we talk, the way we broadcast, and what we broadcast. The webinar looks at how we can fulfill the needs of sports content-deprived customers; whether the pandemic represent an opportunity for esports to accelerate growth; how we bring the streaming services and traditional broadcasting worlds together; and how we can collaborate better as an industry. The webinar will be streamed live. To watch the debate and have an opportunity to take part in live polls during the discussion, and to ask the panelists questions, please sign up here.
