Sports streamer adds live and on-demand WWE content to its sports content across these territories.
WWE has agreed a multi-year deal with DAZN for live and on demand programming of weekly WWE content for DAZN in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Beginning this week, WWE Raw and SmackDown shows will go out with the original US commentary. As well as streaming live, it will be available on-demand, including a two-hour and one-hour version of Raw, a one-hour version of SmackDown and WWE’s two weekly recap series Bottom Line and Afterburn.
Stefan Kastenmüller, WWE senior vice president and group general manager, said: “We are thrilled to be embarking on a new chapter for WWE in Germany as we bring our unique blend of action-packed, family-friendly sports entertainment to DAZN’s robust portfolio of premium sports content.”
As well as WWE, DAZN in Germany broadcasts Bundesliga, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, LaLiga, NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB
