The company is adapting to cope during the uncertain times

Sunset+Vine has revealed the measures it is taking amid the coronavirus crisis to keep production running.

With many live sports competitions and events not going ahead for the foreseeable future, the company has had to focus on other content. For example, studio-based production and branded content series are continuing.

Isolation and Covid-19 social distancing measures have also caused Sunset+Vine to activate remote working measures. Adaptation to this will be very important for many companies over during the crisis.

These will be issues across the whole sector currently, and show how production is attempting to deal with the uncertain times.

A spokesperson for Sunset+Vine said: “In light of the evolving global developments around the COVID-19 virus, Sunset+Vine has been closely monitoring the situation and taking appropriate measures, in line with the latest government advice both in the UK and globally.”

“The current climate has led to the postponement of a number of live productions across the sporting calendar. Whilst this has a short term impact on our business, and is disappointing for everyone concerned, the absolute priority is to ensure the safety of our teams, partners and talent. We look forward, and remain ready, to continue delivering live productions for our clients at such time as it is safe to do so.”

“We do have a number of studio based productions and branded content series that we continue to produce and we are exploring new programme offerings for broadcasters. Across the business we have activated protocols to enable team members to work remotely.”

“We wish everybody well during this unprecedented period and, like any sports fans, look forward to playing a central role in returning live sport to our screens.”

There has been some good news for Sunset+Vine recently, with the company picking up a Royal Television Society award in the sport programme section – for its work on the cricket world cup final last summer.
