Liverpool v Tottenham appears the highest profile game the OTT platform has so far

Amazon Prime Video has revealed the Premier League matches it will be showing on its platform during the coming season, reports the Independent.

Amazon will broadcast 22 games this campaign, which includes two full gameweeks in December and two other matches that are yet to be decided. The first gameweek will be midweek on the 15/16 December, and the second on 28 December.

Currently the 28 December sees all games being played at the traditional 15.00 kick off time, although this may become staggered at a later date – as they were last time round. The platform has been the first to show the full fixtures from a gameweek, starting last season with the new innovation.

The highest profile games among these fixtures include reigning champions Liverpool facing Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham, Manchester United against high-achievers Wolves, and Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton at home to Manchester City.

Manchester United and City’s opening fixtures, v Burnley and Aston Villa respectively, have been postponed due to the Mancunian clubs’ involvement in the latter stages of the Europa League and Champions League this month. The full fixture list can be found here.
